Is this by Sri Subramania Bharati? I don't think I have heard this one before. If the lyrics are posted, I can try a translation.

OK...this is way tougher than I thought.

Thank you Rajani for the lyrics in tamizh. The choreographer (from the link the OP posted) has used verses 1, 3, and 5. Here is my attempt at verse 1.

The mahAkavi describes the divine dance of mahASakti - and his good fortune to have 'visualized' it.

veDipaDu(m) maNDatt(u) iDi pala tALam pODa-
veRum veLiyil irattakkayoDu bhUtam pADa-
pATTin aDipaDu(m) poruLin aDipaDum oliyiR kUDak-
kaLittADum kALI! cAmuNDI! kankALI!
annai! annai! ADum kUttai
nADac-ceidAi ennai

The sight: kALi/gangALi/kangALi/cAmuNDi is dancing (ADum) joyously (kaLittu) as the exploding (veDipaDum) staccato (maNDattu) of thunderbolts (iDi pala) keep/give (pODa) the beats for the rhythm (tALam), and the 5 elements (bhUtam) with (ODu) red/bloody (iratta) hands (kai) sing (pADa) in the open (veRum) skies/space (veLiyil), and as the underlying (aDipaDum) sound (oli) unites (kUDa) with the underlying (aDipaDum) essence (poruLin) of the song (pATTin). My mother (annai), you have blessed me (ennai) to experience (nADac-ceidAi) this divine dance (ADum kUttai).

I have translated the word in red (irattakkayODu) contextually. Hopefully, Rajani/Arasi and others more knowledgeable will correct this (and other) mistakes.
kakALi/gangALi is the consort of kankALan - Siva as one who wears bones, skulls etc.

Here is the last verse (#5), where the mahAkavi describes how the fury of kALi's tANDavam morphs into the Ananda tANDavam:

kAlattoDu nir mUlam paDu mUvulagum-angE
kaDavuL mOnattoLiyE taniyAy ilagum-Sivan
kOlam kaND(u) un kanal sey sinamum vilagum-kaiyaik
konjit toDuvAy AnandakkUttiDuvAy!
annai! annai! ADum kUttai
nADac-ceidAi ennai

At that place/space (angE) where three worlds (muvvulagam) come into existence (paDu), at the very origin (mUlam) (of everything) that exists (nir) with (ODu) Time (kAlam), catching sight of (kaNDu) the glowing/shining/resplendent (ilakum) form (kOlam) of the Supreme Lord (kaDavuL), Siva (Sivan), who stands out (taniyAy) as a silent streak of brilliance (mOnattoLiyE), even the fury (sinamum) created by (sey) your fieriness (kanal) will be quenched (vilagum), and you will caressingly (konji) touch (toDuvAy) (his) hand (kaiyai), and (together) you will perform (iDuvAy) the kUttu/tANDavam of supreme bliss (AnandakUttu). My mother (annai), you have blessed me (ennai) to experience (nADac-ceidAi) this divine dance (ADum kUttai).

I really hope I have understood this imagery correctly.

The third verse (second one in the choreography) is really tough....here it is, if anyone else wants to try:

pAzhAm veLiyum padaRip pOy mey kulaiyac-calanam
payilum Saktik kulamum vazhigaL kalaiya-angE
UzhAm pEydAn "OhO hO" venRalaiya
veRittuRumit-tirivAy, seruven kUttE purivAy!
annai! annai! ADum kUttai
nADac-ceidAi ennai

Very nice Ravi. Thank you.
Some thoughts :
veDipaDu(m)aNDatt(u) is veDipaDu(m) + aNDatt(u), aNDam being the world being destroyed.
I think the word is "irattak-kaLi" - thirst for blood. in the first verse bhUta could also mean the bhuta-ganas with Her.

Also, isn't nirmUlam the Sanskrit word itself - to be uprooted?

Thanks, Rajani - I will rework it with your insights. The tamizh script has the iratta-kaLi this way: வெளியி லிரத்தக் கயொடு.

I have a major beef with publications in tamizh - to me, the words appear to be split willy nilly; or is that how it is supposed to be, with yet another layer of complexity for the reader to unravel? :)

Corrected with insights and corrections from Rajani and PB:

veDipaDu(m) aNDatt(u) iDi pala tALam pODa-
veRum veLiyil irattakkaLiyoDu bhUtam pADa-
pATTin aDipaDu(m) poruLin aDipaDum oliyiR kUDak-
kaLittADum kALI! cAmuNDI! kankALI!
annai! annai! ADum kUttai
nADac-ceidAi ennai

The sight: kALi/gangALi/kangALi/cAmuNDi is dancing (ADum) joyously (kaLittu) as several (pala) explosions (iDi) from the destruction (veDipaDum) of the world (aNDattu) keep/give (pODa) the beats for the rhythm (tALam), and the 5 elements/bhUta gaNas (bhUtam) with (ODu) thirst (kaLi) for blood (iratta) sing (pADa) in the open (veRum) skies/space (veLiyil), and as the underlying (aDipaDum) sound (oli) unites (kUDa) with the underlying (aDipaDum) essence (poruLin) of the song (pATTin). My mother (annai), you have blessed me (ennai) to experience (nADac-ceidAi) this divine dance (ADum kUttai).

kAlattoDu nirmUlam paDu mUvulagum-angE
kaDavuL mOnattoLiyE taniyAy ilagum-Sivan
kOlam kaND(u) un kanal sey sinamum vilagum-kaiyaik
konjit toDuvAy AnandakkUttiDuvAy!
annai! annai! ADum kUttai
nADac-ceidAi ennai

At that place/space (angE) where three worlds (muvvulagam) along with (ODu) Time (kAlam) itself become (paDu) uprooted (nirmUlam) (due to the angry and vigorous kUttu), catching sight (kaNDu) of the glowing/shining/resplendent (ilakum) form (kOlam) of the Supreme Lord (kaDavuL), Siva (Sivan), who stands out (taniyAy) as a silent streak of brilliance (mOnattoLiyE), even the fury (sinamum) created by (sey) your fieriness (kanal) will be quenched (vilagum), and you will caressingly (konji) touch (toDuvAy) (his) hand (kaiyai), and (together) you will perform (iDuvAy) the kUttu/tANDavam of supreme bliss (AnandakUttu). My mother (annai), you have blessed me (ennai) to experience (nADac-ceidAi) this divine dance (ADum kUttai).

Any takers for verse #2?
