Navasandhi tALAs

Dear all,

I have recently listened to K Gayathri rendering a pallavi using 2 of the navasandhi tALAs here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkRQI_Yfklo

@29:30 in the video she explains how these tALAs are used during Brahmotsavam and uses 2 of the tALAs - Brahma tALA (28) and nava tALA (14).

Can anyone provide more information on these tALAs?
