Maduraimini Is No More

Post by arasi »

Dear Madurai Mini left us last week to join other music lovers in heaven. The old timers would remember her. Her posts as she followed the Cleveland Festival concerts cannot be forgotten by us.

I mourn the loss of her loving being. Her love for life, music and gardening inspired me no end...

Yes, Rajesh. My cousin from Florida. She was ailing for a while but we thought she would fight back as she always did all through her life. She would have been ninety in a few month's time :( The whole family thought she was special--even those among the youngsters in the clan.

My heartfelt condolences to you dear Arasi. I have been rather reticent to communicate or report for some time. Deeply saddened to learn that your cousin Maduraimi passed away recently. Every time I wrote to you and enquired about her health, I was told that she was a fighter and was getting better. Ultimately, she seems to have lost the fight and reached the Lord's abode Vaikuntam.

Dear Lakshman and Sundara Rajan,
I apologize for not sending e-mails to both of you and to others who knew her. Life was too busy around that time for me with other demands on life too.

Sundara Rajan,
You have known her for a long time through music in Florida, though living in different areas--both being keen concert attendees.
