Neraval at Bhaktha Jana in Amba Kamakshi - reminds me of Shri Semmangudi.

Kriti - tuLasi daLamulacE - Kindly do not split the word 'daLamulacE' - it is a single word which cannot be split - தளங்களினால் - (daLangaLinAl) - how can you split it?

I like this song very much and it is good of Sowmya to add it to the mix given the rarity of its appearance in concerts. This song is typically sung in quite a brisk manner and I think it provides a nice contrast before settling down on the grand main Bhairavi piece. Hope it worked out that way.

The kalpanaswaras for Kokiladhvani has been omitted to be mentioned.

VK,
Yes. That too after her guru's SuruTTi (suraTi?) composition. kOkiladhvani must have sounded nice as a bridge between that and kAmAkshi.
Was it Sowmya or her guru who tuned bhArati's 'viDudalai viDudalai' in bilahari? It was sung in mOhanam originally...

Arasi,
Since you mentioned ADiDum arasE - here is a link for the song as a 'driSya kAvyam' - a grand-daughter's tribute to her illustrious grandfather!

Thank you Ravi for sharing this.
I go back many years. A family wedding, DR.Ramanathan and TNS are to sing that evening. Since TNS is delayed :) DR.S sings in his place first.
On the previous day, one of DR. R's daughters dances beautifully. I remembered her name and wondered if Lavanya was her daughter or of one of her sisters. The credits roll and I note that her mother Vanathy sings for the recital. The very same person I saw perform as a young girl that many years ago...

I thought navarAgamAlika varnam is Pattnam Subramania Iyer's composition.

There is always some confusion about the authorship of some of the varNAs that use the mudra "venkatesha" since both Patnam and Kottavasal used it.
Even the popular Era nApai is attributed to Kottavasal by some.
