Can anyone tell me a few compositions in non-catuSra naDai (and not in miSra or khaNDa cApu either)?

And — anyone else gets bored with the catuSra naDai? :| :/

There are lots of compositions in Adi-Tisra nadai. Sometimes artistes render these in Rupaka (chatusra nadai). Shyama sastri, especially has used this tala extensively.

A few to come to mind:

Sankari Sankuru - Saveri - Shyama Sastri
Himadresute - Kalyani - Shyama Sastri
Biranabrova ide - Kalyani - Shyama Sastri
Birana Varalichi - Kalyani - Shyama Sastri
Karuna nidhi ilalo - Thodi - Shyama Satri
Palimpa ravadelara - Arabhi - Pallavi Seshayyar
Vanchutonu - Karnaranjani - Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar
Gam Ganapathe - Hamsadhwani Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar
Jayathi Jayathi - Khamas - Mayuram Viswanatha Sastri
Dhim taka (tillana) - Behag - Lalgudi Jayaraman
Maravairi ramani - Nasikabhushani - Thyagaraja

Sorry, I meant to exclude tishra-naDai Adi / Ekam too.

Also, is tIrAdaviLaiyATTu piLLai khaNDacApu or (khaNDa-naDai) catushra Ekam?

To add on, I have a small doubt about rUpakam: is it really sung as catushra-naDai, catushra-jAti rUpaka tALam, or is it to that tALam what mishracApu would be to tishra tripuTa tALam? And what is the "Rupaka (chatusra nadai)" in your post?

Dear brother-member, srikant1987, Chaturashra-jati-rupaka-tala originally consists of 2-kriyas of Druta and another 4-kriyas of Chaturashra-jati-laghu arriving at a total of 6-kriyas and it has long ago been shortened and used with 3-kriyas consisting of 2-units each. amsharma.

To add to the list :

1 ) Paarvati Ninnu Ne Neranammithi - Kalgada-Adi Tisra Nadai
2 ) Entani Vinavintura - Oormika - Adi tisra nadai
3 ) Ninnuvina Marigalada Gati - Reeti Gowla

At present this is all
I shall find out and add more

This is the tiSra rhythm?

That could be because the songs you've come across in this rhythm are all either in Eka or catuSra tripuTa (Adi). :)
