can anyone let me know if there are any video recordings / documentaries on past musicians - Ariyakudi, Semmangudi, GNB, Alathoor Brothers, MS, MLV etc. If so where is it available.

try search in youtube. you would get a few for MS, and I even remember seeing a documentary on GNB.
