Laskhman,

I was hoping you could help me to find the lyrics of BMK's krithi on Ganesh; the pallavi starts
like this

pAri pAri nI padani ..

Gratefully :)

Dear friends,
minor corrections to the lyrics: using M as anuswAra instead of n and R for the vowel as in mRdaMga.

P: paripari nI padamE bhAvana parama dayAvana pAvana
A: varamulu vEDanu ninnu vIDanu karIMdra mukha sumukha nIvADanu
C: muraLI mRdaMga nATya prabhAkara saraLa madhura saMgIta
sudhAkara muMdugA ninnu golicE vAriki muMdE viMdai niMDai nilicE | nI |

P: Oh one with great [parama] kindness [dayAvana] and pure [pAvana], again and again [pari

pari]
my thinking [bhAvana] is at your [nI] feet only [padamE].

A: I shall not request [vEDanu] for boons [varamulu], I shall not leave [vIDanu] you [ninnu],

O One with the face of an elephant [karIMdra mukha] ! O one with a pleasing face [sumukha] !

I am all yours [nIvADanu] .

C: Oh fountain [Akara] of the splendour [prabha] of flute [muraLI], mRdaMga and dance

[nATya] ! , Oh fountain [Akara] of the nectar [sudha] of simple ( not complicated or crooked)

[saraLa] sweet [madhura] music [saMgIta] ! for those who worship you [ninnu golicE vAriki]

first [muMduga] (before worshipping others), (your feet only) which stand revealed [nilicE] before them [muMdE] as a boon [viMdai niMDai] (is their thought - nI pAdamE bhAvana ) .
