Mysore Vasudevacharya was born on May 28th 1865.

Last weekend, Vasudevacharya Day was celebrated in Sunnyvale, CA.

Thank you, Ramakriya. Good to know of the celebration in CA.
Some of the songs were new to me.
He was a very nice man too, I have heard. My uncle cherished the shawl that Vasudevacharya had given him. It was not like the 'honoring' shawls of today! A fine woolen shawl in a pale bluish green with gold embroidery!

Forum member Sreeni Rajarao has passed a write-up written by his father Vidwan Veena Rajarao. I hope to translate it into English and post it sometime.

Veena Raja Rao sang with Vasudevacharya in several concerts.

I have heard his EP recordings in my younger days. I'm sure he had an EP recording ? Pl correct me if I'm wrong.
