Excellent concert- very well planned .Prasnna has arrived on the big stage. It is a pleasure to hear him singing with Bhava&Manodharmam.We can well see the hard work he has put in.
Charumathi was at her best and complemented the vocal artist.

I believe the pallavi was 'CArukESa jaTAdhara shambhO, CandraSEkhara hE tvayambhO' which Sri Sanjay also sings in Arabhi. Nice to see our Bombay boy Prasanna continue to excel with his hard work, dedication and commitment to high quality music.

Dear Prashant

I fully agree with u and full credit to PV for his dedication to carnatic music and hard work all these years has paid off very well.I have a slight reservation on his todi alapana which i felt was not traditional and he missed out on few areas although the kriti followed and N,S was excellent.I thought Charumati scored in this aspect of alapanai.What do u feel?

I did not attend the concert since I was overseas that day. The pallavi info I posted is from the notes my parents took.

Kalai thooki is a composition of Marimutha Pillai - Sadananda Tandavam is by Muthu Thandavar.

Glad to hear about Prasanna Venkatraman's concert. He has ARRIVED. Our best wishes to this youngster.
Charumathi Raghuraman is another youngster who is very promising. Both of them are from Mumbai, and we ,Mumbaikars, are very happy to see our youngsters shine. We have seen them grow-literally and figuratively.
So there were 3 RAMANS on stage and provided a treat,it looks like.

Sadananda Thandavam is by Achyutadasar. Sevikka Vendum Ayya is a song a Muthuthandavar.
