Release of audio cd of Amman songs rendered by Swati venkatr

It was a dream come true for Swati Venkatraman(swati, member,Rasikas.org), sister of kamalamba (member, rasikas, Mohan Balasubramanian of singaporeand daughter of gobilalitha)to have cut and released an audio cd, her first album of devotional songs, dedicated to various presiding deities of temples, in and around Chennai. At a glittering function at VaniMahal,CHENNAI,well attended by a good crowd, including students of BharadwajSchool of Music on7/7/08, the cd titled ;NAVASAKTHI SWAROOPAM', CONSISTING OF A PRAYER SLOKAMAND NINE SONGS,sung bySwati venkatraman and Prabhakar was released by Sri BHARADWAJ,well known music director of many hit films ,under whose tutelage Swati learnt the nuances of light music singing under his dream project B haradwaj school of music..The cd which contains nine songs have been set in light raagas and folksy tunes, to be followed and sung easily by devotees
The honourable guests included ShriBharadwaj,Smt Usha Prasad, principal, Bharadwaj school of music,Punniya, lyricist,SivaRajendran, music director,SivachariarSri Dandapani of Tiruvannamalai, who is marketingand distributing the cd from OM Dhadapant audio company. The honorable guests spoke praising the effortsof Swati venkatraman, in brimging forth the cd.
Shri Bharadwaj spoke about the sincerity of his student Swati, wishing her success in future, High praise is due to Sri K ,Venkat raman, husband of Swati who conducted the proceedings.

Congratulations! We are very happy !
You could perhaps sing for us a few (if it is not posible to post the songs from the commercial CD). After listening to the mother some time ago, we are ready for the daughter!
