11th remembrance year of MS Amma. Her music touches soul and takes us to the feet of Lalita Parabhattarika.

MS, looking like the Goddess herself, singing Ksheerasagara Sayana Vakshasthala Nivasineem.

She might have rehearsed songs, sangatis or whatever. But the Bhakti, the communion to the parachit, which many souls do not understand exists, or those who understand cannot achieve even after thousands of birth cycles; she not only experiences it, but shares to the listeners. The ultimate communion, which is infact tough and difficult to offer is given to the listeners effortlessly.

Hmm...very tough to say..but, yeah...one of those few songs where things like this happen.

Was wondering if MS sang mukhari with swarams. Also, I thought of Hindolam, Reetigowla, Anandabhairavi but we have mamavatu sree saraswati, ninu vina marigalada, o jagadamba for them with swarams....would be interested to know if MS sang swarams for any other keertans in these ragams. Dwijavanti, one of semmangudi's master piece.

yes tat channel was created by me to put all ms amma songs at one place which are scatter.being a fan of ms i want to give her a tribute on her 100th bday by gathering all of her repertoire in a correct way so i segregated them into playlists tyagaraja,m.d,p.sivan,other composers, etc. and one thing my uploads are not illegal i have permission of copyright owners and if i find anything wrong i ll rectify tat notice.

Yeah. It was only for 3 minutes and was sung in MA Concert 1970. It was not elaborate. Would appreciate if you can share an elaborate version, if you have any.

i think no elaborate version of govardana hindolam.but alapana in bhajare gopalam hindolam raga excellent by amma.i never heard such alapana of hindolam

Nope ! No available renditions exist. But a Devi Kritis like Kanjadalayatakshi etc were often preceded with slokas from Soundarya Lahari/Ananda Lahari.

I do not know if MS has rendered Lalita during her pooja @ home

If we read MS and Radha, MS was told by her mother-in-law that the household does not have the habit of putting Kalasam for Varalakshmi Vratam or something to that effect. In this case, she must have rendered Lalita during Dasara. But this is my wildest guess.
