Lovely pictures ! Very happy to see everyone who contribute to rasikas.org with their reviews and discussions. Have enjoyed their contributions all these years and now have seen them. The vada sambhar, thayir saadham, kalandha saadhams remind me of home in namma chennai. Hope to attend one such meet in the future. Thanks.

Rasikas must appreciate the great efforts made by Sri Uday Sankar in conceptualization of this innovation, the high task of planning,and engineering to make this instrument.
Years of learning carnatic music, learning to play the basic flute and the great inputs given by Sri Chitraveena Ravikiran
etc are the result of the innovation of this chitravenu.
Even though I listen to lot of carnatic music, I have my love for Hindustani music also.
The glimpse of the Hindustani music of the Raag Desh was mesmerizing when Uday played in the Chitravenu.
One day, I will arrange a Hindustani music to be played by Sri Uday with Chitravenu at my home with the invited audience of Sri Ravikiran, Dr.Narmada, Sriram Parasuram, Mr.V.S.Narasimhan and our Chennai Rasikas.
