Sindhu Bhairavi is a relatively recent raga, and borrowed from Hindustani music. It uses the notes of Raga Todi, though in the plain form without any gamakas. Given its "lightness", there are not many kritis in the raga, and hardly any major ones. But it is one of the most popular ragas used towards the end of a performance, and that testifies to its appeal in conveying thoughts and ideas effectively and appealingly.
