Hello - I wanted to try and understand the raaga employed in the song - Deep Jhala. This song is being played in TV for promoting the Chanpions League T20 trophy.
The song bit has a very rustic feeling with a Hindustani kind of feel. But somehow it seems to be resembling a carnatic one. Being a beginner myself I am unable to place the technicals correctly and would appreciate any help.
If you have other song examples for the same raaga, please do provide the same. This is for my learning.
thanks,
Anand
PS: In case you are wondering what song I am referring to, please do search youtube for the following keywords: "CHAMPIONS LEAGUE T20 DIWALI HOGI CUP WALI"
PS2: I also am a little unsure if I posted this in the right forum. Please advise if I am wrong. Thanks!
