Post by ranjanimalavi »

M. S. Sheela - Vocal
Mysore Srikanth - Violin
Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma - Mridangam
Sukhanya Ramgopal - Ghatam

1. Varnam - Sami Ninne - Sri - Karur Devudu Iyer
2. Sri Sankara Guruvaram Nagaswaravali - Mahavaidynatha Sivan (S)
3. Raghuvara - Panthuvarali - Thyagaraja (NS)
4. Rama Ika Nannu - Sahana - Patnam Subramanya Iyer (R)
5. nArAyaNa pilicitE - Karaharapriya - Mysore Vasudevacharya (RNS)
6. Thani

I mightI have left one or two pieces in the beginning also.
Since its ten days back I don't remember the Dasa krithis at the end.

It was a nice concert.
I feel if you sing an elaborate panthuvarali then there can be only a main no rtp.

Why do you say that? A pre-main Pantuvarali with an elaborate alapana followed by another main raga (in say Kambhoji or Bhairavi or Sankarabharanam) plus a RTP is quite common.
