http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6hdvDSW ... re=related

In this the dancer uses the Mrigashirsa mudra in 6:02, what are the different uses of Mrigashirsa mudra. I know we use the mudra for denoting the following

* A Deer’s head
* Lord Krishna (when held with both hands)
* Womens cheek
* A Wheel
* Fears
* Quarrel
* Costume or dress
* Tripundraka made on the forehead (Tilak on lord Shiva’s forehead)
* A lute
* Massage on the feet
* Female reproductive organ
* Holding Umbrella
* Stepping and calling the beloved

What does the dancer convey in this mudra, also we use the mudra to denote differences or different right?

Hi Laya2,

The video ends at 6.02. Where do you have a doubt in mrigashirsha usage in the video?

And yes,

Mrigashirsha is used to denote height, comparison when done with both hands: one kept at level and the other raised, used to say incomparable, higher etc. Like in 4.17 in this video:

If you are asking about what the first dancer does at 0.51 we have discussed it here in post#10

It indicates doing or happening. The song says everyone forgets whatever they are doing, listen to krishnas tunes..
