Krishna Ranjani
This raga basically defies all stereotypes and Brahminical hegemony of Carnatic music. It is based on ancient texts and is supposed to liberate arts.

Naturally the raga has Avarohana first and then arohana. Sa and Pa represent the evils of stereotypes and hegemony. So this raga has eschewed them.
Avarohana:
Kai Ni, Su Ma, Du Dha, Ant Ga, Su Ri, Kak Ni
Arohana:
Kak Ni, Pra Ma, Ca Ri, Ant Ga, Du Dha, Kai Ni.

I do not expect conventional and hide bound musicians even to attempt singing this raga.

If I were you, even sa ri ga ma pa dha ni will not be used for swara labels as they represent stereotyping of syllables that were a product of Bharata's time that eliminated other parallel ideas and need to be reshaped. Ok, that was just humor.

On a more serious note, when we are discussing so many rAgas in this section, we must have audio samples. I will promptly get to work reviving some threads with examples.

Ok. Please take Krishna ranjani forward. I have given the code for the nomenclature. Comes from the Melaraga chart booklet prepared by S. Rajam (and published by I think L & T!)

I can try and synthesize the scale and raga swarupa but it might sound awful.
