First installment: The viruttam with corrections:

Sankaran uDan ADi innalgalai tIrkum icchA SaktiyE SaraNam ammA
ganagai nAthanin iDam amarndu abhayam aLikkum kriyA SaktiyE SaraNam ammA
engum amaidi nilaviDa Seiyum gAna SaktiyE Saranam ammA
mangaLam pongiDa SeivAi mAtA parASaktiyE Saranam ammA

I seek refuge (SaraNam) in you, Oh mother (ammA) who embodies will power (icchA SaktiyE) and who, dancing (ADi) along with (uDan) Siva (Sankaran), destroys (tIrkum) pain/afflictions (innalgaLai)!
I seek refuge in you, Oh mother who embodies the power (Sakti) of action (kriyA), and who, existing (amarndu) [1] in the left (iDam) half of the body of Siva, the lord (nAthanin) of gangA (gangai), grants us (aLittiDum) freedom from fear (abhayam)!
I seek refuge (SaraNam) in you, Oh mother who embodies the energy of cosmic music (gAna SaktiyE), who ensures (Seiyum) that peace (amaidi) is permanently established (nilaviDa) everywhere (engum)!
Oh supremely powerful (parASaktiyE) devi, please make (SeivAi) auspicious prosperity (mangaLam) to spread/flourish (pongiDa) everywhere! I seek refuge (SaraNam) in you, oh mother (ammA)!

[1] amarndu literally means 'seated'

Rest will follow.

The next part:
pallavi
dEvargaLai kAttiDavE deviyum tOnrinAL
padam paNivOrkku varam taruvAL dEvi
pAdakan asuran rakthabIjanai vendrAL
mAyAvi mahishanayum mAittiTTAL dEvi

The dEvi (dEviyum) appeared (tOnrinAL) to protect (kAttiDavE) the gods (dEvargaLai), and will grant (taruvAL) boons (varam) to those that worship/bow down (paNivOrkku) at her feet (padam). He defeated (vendrAL) he evil (pAdakan) demon (asuran), raktabIjan (raktabijanai), and she felled/killed (mAttiTTAL) the demon mahishan as well (mahishanaiyum) who was an adept magician/illusionist (mAyAvi).
anupallavi
dikvijayam seidAL Sankaranai kaNDAL
vekki talai kunindAL sundaranukku mAlaiyiTTAL
pakkam amarndArgaL tumbikaiyOnum kandanum
takka samayam vandAr patanjali vyAghra pAdarum

As the valorous warrior princess, mInAkshI, she waged war and led her armies that were victorious (vijayam SeidAL) in all directions (dik), until she set eyes on (kaNDAL) Siva (Sankaranai), when she was overcome by sudden and inexplicable feelings that made her hang (kunindAL) her head in shyness (vekki). She ultimately married (mAlaiyiTTAL) Lord sundarESvara (sundaranukku). And next to Siva and pArvati sat (amarndArgaL) the lord with the elephant trunk (tumbikaiyOnum) and muruga (kandanum). The sages, patanjali and vyAghrapAdar [1] arrived (vandAr) at this opportune (takka) time (samayam) to behold this wonderful sight.

[1] vyAghrapAda is a sage who asked for, and got the feet (pAda) of a tiger (vyAghra), so that he could leap high into the air and gather fresh flowers from the tops of trees in the forrest.

caraNam
jal jal jal ena salangaigaL aSaiya

As (the) anklets (salangaigaL) move (aSaiya) to the sounds 'jal jal' (jal jal jal ena), the cymbals (tAlamum) resound (olikka) 'dhan dhan' (dhan dhan dhan ena), the beats of the drums (mattaLam) thunder 'gana gana' (gana gana gana ena), the white (pAl vaNNa) conch (kuzhal) sounds (iSaikka) in devotion (bhaktiyODu), musical (gAna) rain (mazhai) showers (pozhiya) down gana gana (gana gana gana ena), the gods (dEvargaL) bow down (paNiya) with raised (kUpi) arms (kai), and as the world (maNDalam) sings their praises (pugazha) as Siva dances (ADiDa) with pArvati (Sakti) to the sorkattu 'tatOm' (tatOm tatOm ena), the devi gave her blessings (vAzhtiTTAL) to the world. I invoke 'will (icchA) power (SaktiyE)', the 'power (SaktiyE) of action (kriyA)', and the 'power (SkatiyE) of silence/meditation (mOna)'!

Any idea about the poet and composer of this beautiful Devi Stuti or Keerthanam?

Thank you in advance,
Priti Gosar-Patil

This beautiful composition is by my Founder Guru Smt. K. Lalitha of Sri Saraswathy Gana Nilayam. We memorialised this composition in a CD titled " Lalitha Vandanam" (sung by Smt. Asha Ramesh) in 1992 in her honour after her passing. I am one of the proud students to have learnt the choreography for this composition.

I am glad to see this composition being liked and appreciated.

Thanks & Regards
