A Kanyakumari herself is a disciple of M Chandrasekaran. M Chandrasekaran has given vocal concerts in which another disciple of his, R Raghul has accompanied him. And M Chandrasekaran's own daughter, Bharati, also accompanies him in concerts.

And by the way, you don't seem to have understood Rajeshnat's post properly.

What do you say of Semmangudi's own illustrous disciples and GNB's students, in any case?

And Rajeshnat, Semmangudi: 1908. MSS: 1916 TNK: 1928
GNB: 1910 MLV 1928
Palghat Mani Iyer 1912 KVN 1923

The fact is that given a choice any one favours his/her own children, be it business or music (is there much difference between the two today ??). A non related disciple may be taught well but other supports (you know what) to break the initial resiatance to acceptance will be given only to children
