Best wishes to Abhishek on his US tour. IIRC in 2008 there was a review by sujiram. Abhishek is indeed a creative musician who can get more creative ( considering US concerts are longer). Glad to hear Delhi SunderrAjan is playing , hope he comes back to his great form

His recent concerts down under were really well received. I know of one person who flew from New Zealand to attend his Sydney concert since they were so impressed by him in NZ!

Delhi Sundarrajan will be a great foil to this rising young talent!

@Kambhoji: I was also puzzled because it was announced at our last concert here in Toronto that Abhishek is slated to perform here in the Fall. My guess is that there were additional visa issues with travel to Canada.

I heard Abhishek with Neyveli Narayanan twice last music season. Both concerts were spectacular. The combination with Delhi Sundararajan can only be deadly. I am glad DS is back to touring and performing again.

Also in the news. I heard Abhishek and his cousin mridangist Anantha R. Krishnan tied the knot earlier this summer. And the latter is married to violinist Charumathi Raghuraman. Congratulations to both of them!

Who is abhishek married to? Charumathi Raghuraman and Anantha Krishnan , Best wishes to both the couples on behalf of all here. Looks like their family can have a great chamber concert, all three are simply brilliant .

It looks like Abhishek is having two mridangists for the tour; Anantha R krishnan and Neyveli Narayanan, for different concerts of the tour. The South India fine arts links says that it is Anantha and Shruthilaya says it is Neyveli Narayanan. Could someone who knows, please clarify?
It would have been awesome if it were Anantha R Krishnan who is accompanying him in all the concerts of the tour.
