Flirting with Sucharithra..

Wellll, thats how i felt when I attended Kunnakudi Balamurali Krishna's concert at Mylapore Fine arts on 12/12.. His raagam, swarams and sangathis in Velum Mayilume in Raagam Sucharithra were outstanding and mellifluous.. And the best version of this song I have ever heard..
Poorvi Kalyani was the main (Meenakshi memudham) and exceptional as well. Any voice issues that were mentioned in the last Dec season did not seem apparent now!
I can see that he is starting off the season in full swing! Hopefully someone else can post the full list with more details...It was a well attended concert with Shri VV Sundaram, his guru Shri PSN etc in the audience..

And forgot to mention the wonderful accompaniments by V.Sanjeev (violin), Shertalai ANanthakrishnan (Mridangam) and KV Gopalakrishnan (kanjira). The rapport amidst all 4 was nice to watch (hear!)
