There was just one place to be in...

and it was the 7PM Music Academy concert by KBMK! Firecracker sorta concert!

1. Evvari Bodhana - abogi - adi varnam
2. Ganarajena - Arabi - Misrachapu - Muthuswami dikshithar with swarams..
3. Raghuvara Nannu - Pantuvarali - Adi(2) - Thyagaraja - with neraval and swarams.
4. Sangeetha gnanamu - Danyasi - Adi - Thyagaraja - with ragam and swaram.
5. Ri Ree swaroditham - Sahana - rupakam - Ganapathi sachidananda
6. Paradevathe - Manirangu - adi - Papanasam sivan with swarams.
7. RTP in kalyani - Adi talam misra nadai. with Ragam, thanam, neraval and swarams... ragamalikas in Kaanada, Naaganandini and Pahadi.
8. Karpuram naarumo - kamas - Kandachapu - Andal paasuram.
9. Mangalam - sourashtram - adi - thyagaraja

Heavy weight concert with a solid raagam collection. Spoke to the artiste after for understanding the Pallavi and was spellbound by what he was capable of! If there is something KBMK should work on, it would be on managing time better to allow more time for tukkadas and lighter songs after - and also for thaani.. But maybe this is becos am used to the typical US concerts which go on for 4 hours and there's ample time for everyone!
Overall an Excellent power packed 2.5 hours at the Academy yest!

Some of us might take the opposite view --- and complain that the artist didn't do neraval for all those songs as well! ;)
