Learning carnatic violin in Dearborn/Ann Aarbor (MI)

Would like to check if there are any gurus teaching carnatic violin in Dearborn/Ann Aarbor (MI) area. Any pointers much appreciated!

I am not aware of any teachers in Dearborn / Ann Arbor area.

However, Jay Shankar Balan lives in Bloomfield Hills or West Bloomfied, not too far from Dearborn area.

Kalpana Venkat is another name that comes to mind, but I could not find contact info by googling. I wonder if she is still in Detroit area.
