Another aspect of this multi-faceted genius: "The music was composed by the well-known Carnatic musician, musicologist and painter S. Rajam, who passed away recently. He also sang playback for the hero."

Dear ragam-talam,
THE CLIP IS PART OF A THREE PART SERIES i HAD SENT TO VARIOUS PERSONS on request. It was filmed by me over a six year period in the eighties and covered 1) His overall career, background, interests etc. 2) As a musician & 3) As a painter.
If you have the other TWO PL UPLOAD THEM TOO. I don'tknow how to do it! VKV

Arasi,

Thanks for your encouraging words. We briefly met a couple of times in December. I was new to the forum and didn't even know u were a composer then. Hope to meet you more leisurely in the future.

Our lalitharam ramachandran did a superb lecdem in academy celebrating S Rajam Sir centenary. I just got a 20 plus min clip of him speaking . Also so nice to hear snippets of S Rajam sir speaking . Truly a big renaissance all round personality .S Rajam revered and kept the art so much above him , looks he had a a great sense of humour , as you hear below snippet you will realise
