He opened with a brilliant Hamsadhwani Slokam and Varnam and intelligently rendered few rounds of swarams in the charanam.
Next item was Siddhi Vinayakam Anisam, Shanmukhapriya of Muthuswami Dhikshithar. he chose Patra Prada Padambujam for swaras.
The sub main piece for the day was Lalitha. Few months ago, his father - the Legend Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai Sri TN Seshagopalan had given a lec dem on Meenakshi Navaratna Malika Krithis of Shyama Sastri at the same venue under ageis of Parivadini . In that lec dem sri TNS demonstrated Nannu Brovu Lalitha. It was heaven earth for ppl who attended. Krishna was sitting behind his father and probably got inspired to deliver the krithi with the same Vidwat in this concert. The way he handled the Ragam and plus the neraval and swarams at O Maha Ragne made my day.

Next came Seethavara Sangeetha Gnanamu of Thyagaraja in Devagandhari in a leisurely pace and followed by a sparkling varamu - Manasuloni, with neraval and Swaras in Kanikarambu to

The main item for the day was Varali. Ka Va Va. Krishna explored varali in all all glory his alapana. a short Sloka on Muruga. Kavava was rendered neatly showing different combos before reaching the samam. Swaras were the highlight and executed them neatly. Ragamalika Swaras just flowed out of him like a river. Short spells of neelambari, Karnaranjani, kunthala varali what not.

The support by Vittal Ramamurthy & Sri Narendran sir and Vaikom Sri Gopalakrishnan was outstanding the Thani in true raghu sir style was treat

Then came raga malika vrutham in Kannada Began with Uga Boga and it finally emerged as Baro Krishnayya a raga malika once again. It's merit worthy to mention that not a single raga has got repeated in this exercise.

Penultimate piece was Hamsanandi Thillana by Muthaiah Bhagavathar and finally Mangalam.

I think Krishna deserves much more than recognition than what currently he is getting.

Great concert from TNSK. His energy level has settled down a bit and was perfect for the venue.

Trichur Narendran was phenomenal. It was refreshing to see him engage himself fully and raise the level of the concert along with Vaikkom.

Omom to that. a grand feast with spellbinding lalitha (both ragam & nereval) & varali. Not a moment of sagging anywhere.

TNS krishna usually uses lalita as his weapon , lalita and varali are top picks . Keep it up TNS krishna - he always sings with zero sag.
