The talk tries to trace the overview of the itihasic character Manmata as a 'patra' in the Indic thought as a construct from idea, ideology and practise. Interspersed with poetry, stories and performance vis-a-vis dance and music the talk attempts to explain the formal nature of Manmata, the Lord of Desire and His multifarious narratives.
