I have made corrections to the lyrics you posted based on the tamizh version that Lakshman-ji kindly shared with me. This is my take on this composition:

(My lord, your lotus-like feet padam that) played and/playfully (viLaiyAdina) kicked (udaitta) an asura that took the form of a rolling (uruNDOdum) cart (SakaTam) [1] even as you were an innocent/ignorant (aRiyA) child (bAlanAi) in a rocking/swaying (ADum) cradle (toTTilil), (are the only worthy/appropriate company/support).

(Your) hand (karam) (is extended) as if (ena) asking for (tA tA) butter (vaNNai)
While your gait becomes (naDaiTTu niRkka) unsteady (taLar) as you try to dance (nATyam) to the sollus (enRu) ‘tadhIngiNatOm’
(And your) mother (tAi), yaSOdA (goes into a trance) as she forgets (maRakka) what’s real (mei)
