Wish I could - I have observed that concerts in Bangalore are of a high standard and I love dasara padas
Mornings need to be here for a family functions only free after 3pm

What is the internet there for ?
There are around 1 lakh + concerts available on the internet .
You can choose any artist and any ragam and listen to them whilst you are eating snacks at home .
You can choose your songlist . You can change tracks when it gets boring. Worth for money . Not like paying Rs 3000 for a TMK concert where he sings Atana for 1 hour at super slow pace , putting everyone to sleep or driving them out of the hall .

What is the point ?
Everyone keeps singing the same ragams .
There is a difference between a scientist and a professor .
A scientist has command over his subject and contributes to the field with innovations and discoveries , whereas a professor only teaches what he/she has absorbed .
Today's musicians are like professors .
If they sang spot pallavi concerts , created ragams on the spot , composed lyrics extempore and sang , or had competitions between musicians , it would be exciting and worth the ' live ' experience .
This should be a good change to enliven our music.
