Amrutha preented a reposeful concert embedded with sruti sudham, voice modulation, vishranti, proper splitting of words and stage presence. The raga alapanas of Vasantha, Kalyani and Suruti were on the characteristric lines revealing the raga swaroopam most eloquently. There were a judicious mix of gamakams, plain notes, brighas to bring out the raga bhavam admirably. The kritis were rendered in a leisurely kalapramanam. There were some fire works in the swaras though.

For the kriti Nijadasavarada, neraval was done on the lines Easa kodanda Khandana Dureena and the volley of swaras were well crafted with laya complexities.

She announced that the Pallavi was set by Mahavidwan TRS incorporating yati patterns.

The accompanists provided very good support in her endeavours. Vijay Natesan lifted the concert to a higher level with his understanding, anticipation, dexterity and variety of strokes. Bhagayalakshmi on the Morsing complemented well.
An excellent concert by Amrutha Venkatesh.
