ONLINE VOCAL WORKSHOP ON LALGUDI KSHETRA KRITIS
Gaanapriya Foundation is organising a 3 day workshop on Lalgudi Kshetra Kritis of Sadguru Tyagaraja conducted by Smt Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi. An opportunity for Karnatik music students (vocal and instrumental) to learn the Lalgudi Pancharatnam in the authentic patantharam set for concert performance.
Smt Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi will teach the Kritis composed by Sadguru Tyagaraja on the deities in Lalgudi kshetra.
Dates: Sat 5/March, Sun 6/March, Sat 12/March
Time: 6.30 to 8.30 PM IST
Eligibility
-- Aged 16 or above
-- Learnt atleast 10 varnams and 10 kritis
-- Learnt varnams/kritis in atleast 5 Ghana ragams
-- Able to sing fluently atleast 3 ata tala varnams
-- Keen to increase your repertoire and expand your understanding of ragams
-- Willing to be attentive and interactive during this online workshop
