Is there any similiarity between Pantuvarali and Sahana.
Any film song for easy identification? kanaka

There is little similarity between Pantuvarali and Sahana. Best to listen to more Carnatic music in these ragas for easier identification!

Thanks I know few malayalam songs in Sahana. Not Pantuvarali. I love music but ignorant about musicology. kanaka

BOTHpantuvarali and Sahana are poles apart.Since sahana has Chatushriti rishabham and chathurutideivatham, there can not be even a tinge of resemblance at all.Whereas pantuvarali has sudha rishabham and sudha deivatham.There is no scope at all for mistaken similarity.
