Srikris and CML,

While I was looking out to other ways and means of putting - like using abbreviations, etc. I had no other option but to put up the whole thing.

Thank you very much for posting the ayodhya kandam. I am downloading a little by little every day and enjoying every bit of it. Would you be kind enough to post 21B when you get a chance. The link for that seems to be missing. Once again, I really appreciate the time and effort you put to upload it, but I think your willingness to share this wealth is most heartening.

by SRI HARI JI. SARGAM 108, the last one uploaded, doesnot
seem to the completion of the series. AYODHYA KANDAM closes
with PADUKA PATTABHISHEKAM, IF I AM NOT WRONG. kindly,
confirm that further uploading would be available.

This Ramayana is not the story of Rama. It is raama ayana and becomes raamaayaNa when compounded. Again raama is not the epical hero Rama alone. Seetha is also raamaa as said by Sumantra in Ayodhya, Ch. 60, 10th verse:

bAla iva ramate sItA abAla candra nibha AnanA |
rAmA rAme hi adInAtmA vijane api vane sati

'like an young girl Seetha, with not so young moon's face, [i.e., like the full moon,] is delighting herself even in uninhabited forests with Rama...'

Thus this epic is called rAmA rAmayOH ayaNam rAmAyaNam 'the peregrination of Seetha and Rama...' where the first word raamaa with elongated end syllable belongs to Seetha and the second raama with shortened end syllable belongs to Rama, and thus this is the peregrination of both Raamaa and Raama.

Are the files hosted elsewhere. I found this thread only today and all the files are deleted from rapidshare. Any idea how I can get these? I love to hear the discourses..

The reason mentioned in rapidshare is no download for a long time and inactivity timer exceeded. If anyone has a DVD with all MP3 and in US, could I have it. I can pay for shipping and other charges.
