The86th birthday of yet another octogenerian Nookala chinna satyanarayana, who is regarded as a walking encyclopedia of carnatic music was celebrated last week. The legend Dr. Balamuralikrishna, honoured him by putting on the gandere pederan(golden anklets)on his feet in recognition of his service to carnatic music for almost 6 decades.
