Attached is an article appeared in The Hindu dated 31.12.1976 explaining about FRP (Fiber reinforced plastics) by Professor K. Balaraman, IIT. (2020 is centenary of Sri Pichumani Iyer)

UKS mama must have played the same meru samana for SSI and MDR , the maayamaalavagowlai in each of those instances must have sparkled . After many many decades the great UKS mama is playing for Abhishek Raghuram who brings in a shade of both SSI and MDR to me. The two are ably assisted by another 2 stars HN Bhaskar and BS Sundarkumar

If i am allowed to be poetic the 2 core ingrediants, carnatic defining raga maayamaalava gowlai and carnatic defining vaggeyakkara Thyagaraja meet across generations of supreme excellence. Abhishek could have sung more to the microphone ,but that is just a small blemish. How UKS mama plays for anupallavi and the transitions in the charanam particularly neraval and swaras is simply superb.
