I even heard a vocalist finish with the pallavi of a different song in the same rAgam after along neraval and svaram, realized it within seconds and carried on with the original pallavi.

I've heard of incidents where MVI has done it on purpose also.

Good to hear that the series has gathered momentum. Look forward to more concerts, hopefully with recordings. Also may just be the perfect excuse to visit my favourite city!

I have listened to him thrice live and I feel none of the current singers have reached his level of Sowkyam. Nice song selection and sad that the concert is not recorded.
