hmm... was the rendition of soundara rajam elaborate? Good song list... I wish you could furnish details on which were the main songs etc.. thanks..

Bhairavi was the main song and it was rendered wonderfully. Soundara rajam was not elaborate. Most of the songs were in the range of 5-7 mins. Bhairavai being the main song of the concert was for more than an hour. Wish I had recorded it. If anyone has a recording of the concert, would appreciate if you can share it.

Kalai thuki was also elaborate.

nothing controversial or nothing wrong ...but just a casual observation that looks like
SGBS crowd had back to back Bhairavi main,the previous one from Unnikrishnan

Eppramod : As far as back to back bhariavi's go.. Just this december I heard Sanjays elaborate Yaaro ivar Yaaro and TMK much talked about RTV in Bhairavi.. I immensely enjoyed both of them... Bangalore rasikas are having a lot of fun looks like..

Does anyone find it a little odd that all songs except the main are in 5 to 7 min duration without alapana , nerval or swaras?
Nothing wrong with it I guess but I never heard a concert like that..

Nothing wrong with it I guess but I never heard a concert like that..

I donot think I can enjoy songs of 5-7 minutes unless they are not heard by me or rare.
I look forward to neraval mostly.
