No, I am not talking about the song by the Go-Gos, and what’s really frightening here is that I remember that song by the Go-Gos! Anyway, that is an issue for my psychiatrist to go over with me in detail.
What I mean here is that the pulse of music is centered around beats and always has been. Drums always pound out the backbeat on any song, especially the rock and roll we hear on the car radios. So how many different ways can we get, the beat?
Well, there is always a live drummer, and yes I know they are pretty much a dying breed anymore with the digital electronics of today and programs like Pro Tools and Fruity Loops pretty much any one with a computer and the program can throw together a decent sounding beat and be a "beat maker"
