Though belonging to GNB school ,Vidushi SS has more a gamaka sareeram than a brigha sareeram.So when she transferred all those brighas into gamakas it sounded different and refreshing.Moreover her upperoctave singing esp.in the neraval of Shankarabharanam sounded more like MS than MLV.Her singing of the Mukhari piece in a tempo bit unusual to her school sounded excellent and it is a good thing that she is emerging a a singer of sensible music in preference to flashy and exhibitive one.

The concert would have been still better had she sung atleast one no.in Pradhimadhyama ragam.She could have eschewed the Salagabhairavish prayogas in Mukhari in the upper octave.
Akkarai was at her best as usual and filled ears and heart with her deep music and sweet bowing.A gifted artist.

Pongulam & Dr.played a great innings and lifted the quality of the concert to great height.

quite a few rare songs in that list. yes, a very capable singer, often seems to be underrated
