Well, I attended the concert, but didn't list things down. If you people would be able to recollect the piece from the details below, it will be good.

A piece on kapAli in kambhoji

The vazhi maRaittirukkudE piece began like "koluva". I wonder if the tune was borrowed from that song. I've heard it in nATTaikurinji-cApu.

I think the main was kambhoji.

There was one neraval before saurashtram. saurashtram had only slow svarams. The alapanais of saurashtram were also very beautiful. But at the end, I'd been disappointed that there was no stopping at ma, but TMK compensated for it in the svarams.

Bad miss for me too.
1) "Paavi Ezhai" -TMK starts with this "line" while singing this piece

Iam surprised how TMK (or anyone) starts a concert with this Line !!!!

2) Varuvar- I heard in Hindolam.

"9) Nadandha KalgaL Nondavo" should be the verse- Azhvar Paasuram.

Saurashtram- For me too,long time unheard.

GRS - it did sound Begada to me.

The highlight of the evening to me was the grand neraval on the line "vAzha ulaginil peydiDAy nAngaLum" in the varALi tiruppAvai.

Concerts in Chennai usually get listed on the day's The Hindu's fourth page (Music - Dance - Drama section).
