Carnatic
Vocals:Sri K.N Shashikiran and Sri Chitravina P Ganesh
Chitravina:Sri P Ganesh
Mridangam:Sri Balaskandan
Hindustani
Sitar:Ustad Ikhlaq Hussain Khan
Tabla:Sri Naren Budhkar

As Sri Shashikiran said it indeed was a musical conversation between both styles of Indian classical music as well as between the vocals and the instruments.
They started off the concert with the most popular song Vaatapi Ganapathim bhaje. No matter how many times I've heard this song before, the rendition by the Carnatica Bros was captivating.
It was very interesting to see Sri Ganesh switch between the mike & the slider to play his instrument.
The highlights of the concert were the Keeravani RTP,Sri Shashikiran's tanam, tanam on Chitravina by Sri Ganesh ,Ustad Ikhlaq Khan's rendition of raag Megh followed by a very pleasant/soothing Sahana on Chitravina by Sri Ganesh and Bho Shambho by the Carnatica bros. There were brief alapanas/alaps for all the songs.
The percussionists Sri Balaskandan and Sri Naren gave an able support and maintained the pace on the mridangam and the tabla resp.It was a divine concert in a great ambience.
