Neat presentation by the Carnatica Brothers on the theme "Venkatesa Vaibhavam". Vaidyanathan and Balakrishnan played with tremendous energy and elevated the kucheri. So did Murari on the violin !
Navaragamalika varnam always helps to begin the concert with so much majesty ....that was reflected in this concert too... The kalpanaswarams for phalamanjari krithi helped the brothers to give a good start ! Ganesh's saveri raga alapanai was very melodious and he sang with lot of azhutham. Neraval and Swarams for Enta Nerchina were good.
Raga sketch for Mukari was presented by Shashikiran....nice exchanges of swarams came up for the Annamayya krithi. Later Shashikiran sang a Bright Raga Alapanai, for the Bilahari raga krithi.... Paridanamichite came up... lively n brisk...
Ganesh went up to present Kedaragaulai ragam....Sounded very pleasant for the evening ! Main item was the popular Saraguna palimpa !
Vaidyanathan and Balakrishnan' s thani avardanam....was wonderful...Vaidyanathan overall played innovative patterns in the concert.
The brothers concluded the concert with a Purandaradasa composition...Venkatachalanilayam....The brothers have beautifully blending voices... Was again a great experience listening to them sing !
