The concert was on 4h feb. at youth hostel indra nagar

On the whole it was very good concert by Prasanna.After the varnam and the begada kriti he took up jyotiswaroopini for aalaap.
both prasanna and bhaskar did well in this.The swarams were also good
after a brisk vinaradana came the sub main saveri with a not often heard kriti ramabana.The ragam,niraval and swaram were beutifully presented.The tani that followed was really a treat to the ears.not a single person got up during the tani avardanam.
Then came the main RTP , with enadumanam in between, which was sung with great kalpana swarams in ragas ending with manohari .
With ragamalika virutham and a couple of songs the concert came to an end.On the whole it was a very satifying concert which lasted for two anda half hours

Very recently I heard a single rAga rtp gaurimanOhari RTP, heard a manohari ragamaliga krithi of suguna purush.This combination must have been great.

Just a brief response to that last comment by Rajaglan. A couple of days earlier in Bangalore, Sanjay treated a packed Gayana Samaja Hall to Ramabana in Saveri, amongst a host of other delights, including a Khamas RTP. Mannargudi Eswaran was the percussionist on that day as well, along with Nagai Muralidharan and Bangalore Rajasekhar. Rasikas have not been very active about last week's mega fest in Bangalore, possibly due to the changed format of the site.
