Karnatic Music Appreciation Programme by musician and musicologist Dr.Radha Bhaskar is being organized on 14th March (3p.m to 7.15p.m) by Sri Rama Lalitha Kalamandir, Banashankari, Bangalore in their institute hall. The programme covers the following topics – What is music, Benefits of listening to music, Music and Society, Basic Introduction to the different forms of music, The structure of Karnatic music, Raga and Tala as fundamental aspects of Karnatic Music, The basic components of a Karnatic Concert, The created and creative aspects in a concert, The accompaniments and their role in a concert and many such interesting topics. All are welcome.
