A very competent musician who I personally feel 'he is one of the best in that age bracket' .21 concerts in roughly 10 weeks away from madras summer should be great break for the team. Ok make sense, I am assuming u may have not yet heard the trichur brothers, they have a booming voice and you must like their music a lot. All 4 should be enjoyable ones

I had a chance to browse the youtube to get KBMK's concert in US , a rare vasanthA number of either Thiruvarur Ramaswami Pillai or subbarAyasAstri . KBMK's weighty voice is very much there .

This is a composition of Thiruvarur Ramaswami Pillai, not Subbaraya Shastri...

Can you clarify the composer please??I just saw kannan's diary , there it is marked as TRP, whereas TKG Rao mentions that as subbarAya sAstri

Subbaraya Sastri did not compose in Tamil, only Telugu... At least there aren't any other Tamil kritis misattributed to him. I wouldn't be surprised if records indicate one Shri kamAkshi by Tiruvarur Ramaswami Pillai and another by Subbaraya Sastri. They point to the same composition, which I strongly believe is the former's (I even clarified this with my guru who taught me this kriti).
