Sorry for this very late submission.

It was my first Saketaraman concert and he left a very deep impression. It is very exciting to hear youngsters sing so well and come across as a very humble learner. The "Chalamelara..." rendering was the high point of the concert for me. It was very moving, had excellent bhava and was rendered at the right slow pace.

The accompanists were all maestros and elevated the concert to a very high level. Saketaraman's parents were in the audience. UKS mentioned that they have raised two gems (Visakha Hari and Saketaraman) and it did not seem like an exaggeration. UKS was felicitated for receiving the Padma Bhushan.

How was his kamboji alapana?
He sang kamboji in unnati center last year and it was really a great , one would never expect
that kind of manodharma at this age of an artist. .
In his MMU concert , that lathangi song, venkatataramana was really great and he made a
master piece out of it.

The Kamboji alapana was elaborate and was good. Dr. Mysore Manjunath's reply was also very good and so it was for the entire concert. It was a good team effort overall.

Saketaraman is a wonderful artist, perhaps one of the best in the younger generation today.

I heard the audio of this concert, and the kAmboji was excellent. Brought out the complete beauty of the rAgam.
His neraval and swaram at BhaktaparAdhi were both outstanding. I hope I get to hear more kAmboji from him in the future.
