Madhuvanti is a janya of 59th melakartha Dharmavathi. It has the swaras SGMPNS - SNDPMGRS. Madhuvanthi is used in this fashion in Carnatic music and is a popular choice in ragamalikas and lighter items.

Sarvam Brahma Mayam of sadAshiva brahmendra as we are hearing from Hyderabad/Malladi brothers is said to be have been tuned in Madhuvanthi. This looks nice when sung in madhyama sruti ? Am i right ?? please correct me....

Secondly, I would like to know the raga name of "pibare rAma rasam" as sung by Balamurali and it's structure.
