The brothers were in very good form and sustained the energetic presentation completely, through out the 2 hours ! Crisp, bright Poornachandrika kriti of Dikshitar was followed by interesting Kalpana Swara patterns. The Varali raga expansion was very well done by Ganesh. Bhogindrashayinam came up as a good contrast to the previously rendered kriti. The main raga alapanai was shared by the two...Shashikiran's Bairavi alapana...was very soulful... Sundaresan's essay was short and sweet. Sri.Kamalakar Rao came up with an enormous variety of patterns for the Mishra chapu krithi of OVK(rarely heard) and in the thani avartanam. The post main songs were melodious and left the audience asking for more !
