I was there too.. Khamas had some new prayogas that i loved. Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi gave perfect reply in Kalyani, RTP and Anandabhairavi.. Vijay Siva was in great form. A treat for 3 hrs

Vijay Siva gave a wonderful concert - his Kalyani and Kamas were splendid. The Thodi alapana was brief - but the pallavi and post pallavi items were superb! LV's accompaniment really elevated the concert - and I did notice that she accompanied him in MA too. If indeed the Lalgudi siblings accompany artistes such as VS and RKS (MA had GJR as the accompaniment) it is great. Hopefully it is a continuing trend and not a one-off. VS's post main items are well chosen. Is there a recording of his viruttams, slokams and such ?
