All accompanists were great. Anand brings a new dimension to carnatic percussion with his terrific Tabla accompaniment.. Need stereo speaker to appreciate the intricate gumkis he plays.

I attended this concert which was almost full-house. His main Thaaye Yashoda in Todi was mind-boggling unfortunately not telecast in the Jaya TV. The theme was Krishnanudan Naan. Some of his answers to the questions simply confirmed that his age belies his wisdom and maturity.
Mysore Srikant adequately supported. Trivandrum Balaji played mridangam and Anand played Tabala and the understanding and chemistry between this team was terrific.
However the concept of Tabala for this somehow did not go well in my opinion. I would have preferred a double-mridangam instead like the way Raghu Sir and Anand used to play for Abhishek.
