The brothers began the evening’s concert with the popular Saveri varnam, singing few rounds of Swarams at the Charanam. Mandari alapana by Shashikiran was very appealing !! The majestic Amba Kamakshi came up, followed by Parama purusham.

The central piece was the Ragam Thanam Pallavi in Charukesi. The Thanam as well as the Ragam singing were shared by the brothers. It was a treat to listen ! Murari gave them good support on the violin !
The swarams for the pallavi were sung in different eduppus followed by a ragamalika, in Hamsadwani,(by Shashikiran) Behag(by Murari on the violin) and a new raga Hayagriva (by Ganesh). They reversed the order and finished off with a korvai !

Thani for the pallavi by Guruvayur Dorai was brilliant !

Then the "speech" session began...since I could not stay on, had to start from the concert ! If anyone got to hear the post pallavi session, pls put up the song list.
